Participants of the Internal Quality Auditors Training held in Voi Wildlife Lodge, June 3-6, 2024

Daystar University recently conducted an intensive 4-day training for Internal Quality Auditors at Voi Wildlife Lodge from June 3-6, 2024.  

Led by the DVC- Finance, Administration and Planning Prof. Muturi Wachira, the session saw 42 ISO Champions in attendance. 

Facilitated by Mr. Wafula Rombosia of Sleek Consultancy, the training was based on ISO 9001:2015 standard for implementing a quality management system (QMS), and ISO 19011:2018 which provides the guidelines for auditing such management systems. 

For a while, different functions of Daystar University have been preparing their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide processes in service delivery to customers. 

In the upcoming weeks, the Internal Quality Auditors will focus on conducting internal audits. This crucial step will set the stage for an external audit by a certification body, with the goal of achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification.
