[Nairobi – June 19, 2024] Daystar University will, for the fourth year running, host the 74^th Annual ICA Conference, Nairobi Regional HUB from Thursday, 20th - 22nd June 2024 at Nairobi Campus. The theme of the conference is: Communication and Global Human Rights.

The ICA Nairobi Regional Hub conference will be officially opened on Thursday 20th June 2024 at 1.00 pm, by Daystar University Deputy Vice-chancellor, Academic Research and Student Affairs, Prof Faith Nguru.

The Nairobi Regional Hub has attracted sixteen papers from local universities in Kenya, including Daystar University, Multi Media University, Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), the University of Nairobi, and international presenters from USA. The Nairobi Regional Hub has scheduled three panel discussions around the conference theme.

The Nairobi Regional Hub conference has attracted over 150 participants who are registered to attend.  Attendance is free and the number is expected to grow.

The Organizers of the ICA Nairobi Regional Hub conference include Daystar University Faculty and staff, ICA Kenya Chapter Executive Board, the Directorate of Research, Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship, and the Director of Postgraduate Studies.

Immediate former ICA President Prof. Noshir Contractor will chair Regional Hubs’ panel discussion virtually from Australia organized on June 22.

It is important to note that the global ICA Annual conference will be held in Gold Coast Australia, from 20^th June to 24^th June.

Other ICA Regional Hubs include Nigeria, India, China, Indonesia, Pakistan and Egypt.
