School of Business organizes academic tour of Europe

The Daystar University, School of Business and Economics has organized a 10-day educational trip to Europe, set to take place from 4th to 13th November 2022. Dubbed ‘EURO TOUR 2022,’ the trip will see 37 participants, among them two faculty members, visit six countries namely The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland and Austria and 11 cities.

The Daystar University, School of Business and Economics has organized a 10-day educational trip to Europe, set to take place from 4th to 13th November 2022.
Dubbed ‘EURO TOUR 2022,’ the trip will see 37 participants, among them two faculty members, visit six countries namely The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland and Austria and 11 cities.
The theme of the Euro Tour is: Explore International Business Operations in First World Countries. The sole purpose for the Annual International Trips organized by the school is to expose students to the world commercial centres with the objective of equipping them with practical aspects of doing business internationally. The trip has attracted students pursuing different courses in the School, and is led by Mr. Richard Maswili, a faculty member.
In the past, similar trips have seen the SBE students visit Arusha and Moshi in Tanzania (2004); Johannesburg, Pretoria and Midland in South Africa (2004); Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Sharjah, Doha, and Qatar in United Arab Emirates (2005); Turkey (2006), China (2007), Europe (2008), USA (2010), China (2015), Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Dubai in United Arab Emirates (2017). The mentioned international commercial centers exposure has yielded educative aspects to students, hence enabling them to navigate in international business ventures.
The cost for the trip, which is fixed at USD 2,540, caters for a return Economy Class Air ticket on Qatar Airline, Schengen Visa fees, a comprehensive Travel Insurance, 10 days stay with 7 nights bed/breakfast accommodation, Air Port, Hotel and City taxes, ground transport in Deluxe air-conditioned buses, Train ride from Paris to Zurich, and guided tours as specified in the Itinerary. The package is exclusive of lunch, supper, pocket money and personal expenses.
