In their presentation on investing in shares, the duo stressed the words of the global businessman and stock market guru, Mr. Warren Buffet, “If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.” This statement aimed to familiarize the audience with the miracle of stock market investment.
Expounding on the principle of compounding, Mr. Njoroge advised participants that investing in shares is a long-term game, and not an immediate process. On his part, Mr. Afande expounded on the different levels of risk in the capital markets, labeling treasury bonds as lowest in the risk spectrum.

“This is an important moment for us all to learn what happens in the workplace in addition to what we acquire in class. It is a time for us to not just keep going but to learn about investing as we do so,” he said.
