[Makueni: October 8, 2025] From 3rd - 7th November 2025, project managers affiliated to the Anglican church from across Africa gathered at Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Resort in Salama, Makueni County, for the transformative Project Management Training for Church Leaders.

The training was the third in a series that began with Module 1 earlier this year by laying the foundation for planning, execution, and management of church projects. Module 3, themed “Integrated Project Closure and Sustainable Property Management”, focused on equipping leaders with advanced tools for accountability, sustainability, and operational excellence.

The week was packed with hands-on learning, practical exercises, and interactive discussions, covering a comprehensive range of topics essential for effective project management in church settings:

Each day combined theory with applied learning, interactive exercises, games, and group activities, creating an engaging environment for reflection, networking, and practical skill-building.

The week concluded with a joyous graduation ceremony, celebrating the commitment and growth of all participants. As a highlight, leaders enjoyed a recess trip to Amboseli National Park, providing opportunities for relaxation, fellowship, and inspiration amidst Kenya’s iconic landscapes.

This training was more than just an academic exercise it was a community of learning and growth, empowering church leaders to implement projects with accountability, sustainability, and excellence. With every module, DLPDI continues to equip leaders to operate at their full potential, ensuring church initiatives deliver meaningful and lasting impact in their communities.

The three-part training was designed as a capacity building partnership between the Daystar Leadership and Professional Development Institute (DLPDI) and Church Commissioners for Kenya (CCK) for the Anglican Church in Africa, with support from Mission for Real Estate Development (MRED), a department of Trinity Church in USA.
