Alumni Class of 2003 Visits Vice Chancellor at Athi River

[Athi River, Saturday 13th, July 2024] Daystar University in partnership with Daystar University Alumni Association led by Dr. Leah Komen, hosted the Alumni class of 2003 to lunch with the Vice Chancellor. The theme of the meeting being ‘’Building togetherâ€.

[Athi River, Saturday 13th, July 2024] Daystar University in partnership with Daystar University Alumni Association led by Dr. Leah Komen, hosted the Alumni class of 2003 to lunch with the Vice Chancellor. The theme of the meeting being ‘’Building together”.
Speaking to the Class, the Vice chancellor expressed his pride and gratitude for the achievements made by Daystar University Alumni. He reminded them the importance of alumni to the University.
“In order to flourish in life, let’s develop mindsets of gratitude,” said Prof. Ayiro, further encouraging the Class of 2003 to have faith and trust in God. He observed that what the Lord had done in Daystar University was unbelievable, alluding the success to putting the Lord is at the center of our lives.
He invited alumni to collaborate and reconnect in order to make Daystar University a better place for current and future generations.’’
Prof. Ayiro encouraged the Class of 2003 to endeavor to leave a legacy in Daystar University and invited them to engage with the University and ensure that their hearts were in the University.
The DVC Finance, Administration and Finance, Prof. Muturi Wachira appreciated the Alumni for coming, and called for togetherness among them and also with the University. “What has happened in this University is by the grace God,” said Prof. Wachira.
“Let us do things that support human lives like supporting our students and also providing mentorship to them,’’ said Alexander Kirimi of the Class of 2003 .
The Coordinator of Daystar Alumni Association, Dr. Leah Komen highlighted the activities of Daystar University Alumni Association which included institutional advancement through job placements and mentorship of current students, and resource mobilization, among others.
